The third edition of the Not So Happy Film Festival took place at Bluesberry Woods from Friday the 1st of July until Sunday the 3th of July, 2022 in Västra Ämtervik, Sweden. We hope that our remote location will enhance the experience of watching a film without the usual distractions, putting film first and the thoughts and feelings that come from it.
We have a prize for best film, a two-week residency in the Sculptured House including meals. The three finalists of the 2022 festival were:
- The Father, the Taxi and the Night (Director Parisa Rezai Lindorm) from Sweden
- Le Varou (Director Marie Heyse) from France
- Brother (Director Lisanne Sweere) from the Netherlands (WINNER)
Our international jury helped us selecting the films for 2022:
Dennis Rodie (Sweden), Ayet Alers (Netherlands), Caroline Müller (Germany). Noémie Barcat (France) and Frederike Lindemann (Germany)
